Using the Dewey Decimal System
Having trouble learning how to use Dewey or just want to brush up on your Dewey skills? Click here to play the Dewey Decimal game called "Order in the Library" and show us what you know!
Got Nooks?
We do! Staff and student use policies are still in the first stages of development. Although the Nooks are not yet circulating for students, please stop by and check out this new technology that your library has to offer! Teachers, if you are interested in checking out a Nook, please see Ms. Twist!
New DVD Titles
Ms. Twist has just finished processing and cataloging 18 new DVD's that are available to be used in the classroom. Click here for a list of new titles.
Research Questions and Help
Please remember, Ms. Twist is always available to help assist you in researching for your projects. Stop by anytime with your questions!!
Yearbooks, Yearbooks....
It's that time of year again!! Production of the yearbook will be underway during the month of October. If you are interested in applying to be part of the yearbook staff, keep an eye out for the applications that will be circulating in the next few weeks. Please keep in mind that there is a limited number of spots available to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. If you are not already participating in several after school activities and have camera skills, reporting skills, and creativity, please apply. Yearbook will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school from until 3:00 p.m.
New Layout
You will notice the library has recently undergone a re-design. This has taken place to better serve the students of Central Middle School. We hope that you like the new layout and welcome your feedback. GOOD LUCK during your new school year, 2011-2012!
